Let us remind you that two years ago, due to the active growth of interest in our products among local European architects, designers, restorers, and construction organizations, the "Bronya Italy" representative office opened its own Bronya Facade Academy (Decorus Academy). This is a full-fledged educational center for systematic training and implementation of the company's advanced technologies in the European market.
If earlier only a few local meetings were held per year in Italy, now these are large-scale events with opinion leaders and active discussion platforms. Just this year, five such events have already taken place with great success! And today we are beginning a large series of photo and video reports from these seminars. It is noteworthy that each Academy event is unique in its own way: in each city, specialists from different clusters gather. Somewhere complex historical restoration dominates, and elsewhere the advanced green energy-saving agenda takes center stage.
The first seminar of our new series was held on April 16, 2026, in the Italian city of Fermo! The event took place in the Auditorium Villa Nazareth hall, in active cooperation with the Order of Architects, Planners, Landscape Designers, and Conservators of the Province of Fermo, as well as the College of Surveyors.
The main topic was "Energy renovation of buildings under the protection of the Superintendence of Architectural Heritage (Soprintendenza), in accordance with the new EU Regulation 3110/2024."
The leading experts, seminar speakers Dr. Alessio Masini (Passive House consultant) and Engineer Luca Soldani, covered the following topics in detail for their Italian colleagues:
-
Principles of Thermodynamics and Innovations: How exactly ultra-thin thermal insulation works and why millimeters of our coating replace centimeters of traditional insulation while also providing sound insulation.
*"We talk about innovative low-thickness products for interventions in historic buildings when traditional insulation is impossible. We explain how these materials work based on the three laws of thermodynamics — conduction, convection, and radiation — and demonstrate that 4 millimeters of our material provide insulation equivalent to 12 centimeters of polyurethane."* -
Restoration Without Loss of Historical Appearance: Practical examples of building renovation in the historic centers of L'Aquila, Florence, Piombino, and Genoa. Traditional thick insulators like expanded polystyrene or mineral wool cannot be used there — they would destroy architectural elements, stucco, and stone masonry. The application of liquid thermal insulation preserves the original facade appearance (including communications and stucco), without violating strict European regulations.
"Our material allows work to be carried out without demolition, preserving the original historical appearance of the building." -
Certification and Testing: Special attention was paid to the Declaration of Performance (DOP), CE marking, and the importance of testing in accredited laboratories (including successful tests of our products at the Universities of Pisa and Perugia).
"We did what all companies should do: we shared the test results independently carried out by the Universities of Perugia and Pisa, to confirm the effectiveness of both thermal and acoustic protection."
The seminar generated great interest: participants were able to see samples of materials in person (including those suitable for painting and plastering), and ask questions about solving problems with thermal bridges, condensation, and complex details in the restoration of ancient palazzos and churches.
Working with us, you are not taking a "leap into the unknown." We give technical specialists peace of mind when designing, because we have evidence that no one else has.
Very soon we will publish reports on the next seminars of the Bronya Academy from other Italian cities, where new, equally interesting topics will be covered. Stay tuned for news!
