In Volgograd, a meeting of the Investment Committee of the Volgograd Region was held in honor of Russian Entrepreneurship Day. The event was attended by heads of regional branches of "Business Russia", "Support of Russia", the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as heads of specialized organizations and committees of the Volgograd Region.
The key event of the meeting was the ceremonial summing up and awarding of the winners of the first regional competition "Best Brands of the Volgograd Region".
Anna Valerievna Stepnova, public representative of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives in the Volgograd Region, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. The participants were also greeted by Anna Sergeevna Pismenskaya, Deputy Governor of the Volgograd Region, representing the head of the region, Andrey Ivanovich Bocharov.
The culmination of the event was the awards ceremony. The diplomas to the winners were presented by Galina Viktorovna Bykadorova, Chairman of the Committee for Economic Policy and Development of the Volgograd Region.
Special attention deserves the success of Alexander Boyarintsev, Deputy Chairman of the regional branch of "Business Russia" and General Director of the company "NPO Bronya". The entrepreneur achieved two victories at once in the categories "Technology" and "Consumer Goods", confirming the high quality and innovative potential of regional products.
