In February, we began telling the story of a large-scale application of our products in Crimea. Today — the second part of a detailed report from our dealer. This time we share the story of one customer who, over the course of the construction season, entrusted the Bronya line with a whole range of diverse tasks on their property!
First, a spa complex and bathhouse were renovated. During the demolition of the steam room cladding, a problem was revealed: due to water, the fasteners had rusted and the mineral wool had completely deteriorated. The customer chose modern solutions! The wall was prepared, the holes were filled, and a primer of "Bronya Universal" was applied. The main barrier consisted of 2 layers of "Bronya Aquablock Effect NF" waterproofing and 3 layers of "Bronya Classic NF" thermal insulation (the ventilation duct was also insulated with the same material). All fasteners of the new false walls were point-protected with "Aquablock Effect" waterproofing, eliminating any risk of moisture penetration. The result: the steam room is absolutely dry and retains heat perfectly.
Next, during finishing work, it was necessary to protect a cutout in a kitchen countertop made of chipboard for a sink. This was effortlessly handled by the polymer waterproofing "Bronya Aquablock Effect". The wood received 100% practical protection from water while maintaining its aesthetic appearance.
The window slopes were also insulated. Freezing of the windowsill area is a common "pain" for builders. Using traditional mineral wool was impossible, and the material was strictly required to be non-flammable. The task was brilliantly solved by "Bronya Gracia" liquid thermal insulation, applied with a brush in 4 layers. The highly effective thermal barrier, due to its minimal thickness, did not interfere at all with the subsequent installation of metal drip edges.
During work on the ventilation system, instead of unjustifiably expensive metal sandwich pipes with mineral wool, the customer chose PVC pipes coated with "Bronya Classic" liquid thermal insulation. After degreasing and sanding, specialists applied 3 layers of coating (0.5 mm each with interlayer drying for 24 hours). This solution provided not only excellent insulation quality but also significant economic benefits.
This project is an excellent example of how the broad range of products from NPO "Bronya" allows one customer to systematically cover any construction and renovation needs.
