We are sharing a report from an industrial site—the thermal insulation of reservoirs at an oil field in the Kaliningrad region. The client's task was to maintain a stable temperature in the tanks and protect them from corrosion.
To ensure maximum adhesion and durability of the coating, thorough surface preparation was carried out. It included several stages:
• Abrasive treatment (sanding);
• Washing and degreasing;
• Application of a primer coat (matte epoxy primer)
After preparation, 5 layers of the non-flammable "Bronya Classic NF" modification were applied. The application was performed efficiently and quickly using a Graco Mark V airless sprayer.
The coating solves complex problems: on the tank with hot oil (+50°C), it conserves heat, reducing energy costs, and on the tank with cold water, it protects against heating and corrosion.
The result was a durable, seamless, and non-flammable coating that effectively handles the specified technological tasks. This project is another example of the successful application of "Bronya" in the oil and gas industry.
The entire scope of work—from selecting the material for the specific task to its delivery and professional application—was carried out on a turnkey basis by our official representative, "Bronya Kaliningrad."
