We continue to share reports from an industrial site—an oil field in the Kaliningrad region. Previously, "Bronya" solutions were successfully used here for the thermal insulation of reservoirs, and now we are sharing a new stage of work, the second part on a new section of the facility.
Object: A three-phase separator S1 at an oil field in the Kaliningrad region. A three-phase separator is designed to separate the oil emulsion into oil, gas, and water, being a key element in the primary oil treatment process at the field.
Task: To provide effective thermal insulation and corrosion protection for the S1 separator, maintaining a stable temperature, reducing heat loss, and ensuring non-combustibility.
Solution: A combination of the liquid anti-corrosion thermal protection "Bronya Antirust NF" and the non-combustible thermal insulation "Bronya Classic NF" was chosen.
Work Stages: • Surface preparation: Thorough cleaning of corrosion spots was performed, as well as degreasing and priming the surface with GF-021 primer. • Application of "Bronya Antirust NF": A 0.5 mm layer of "Bronya Antirust NF" was applied to the prepared surface for effective corrosion protection. • Application of "Bronya Classic NF": After inter-layer drying, 4 layers of the non-combustible thermal insulation "Bronya Classic NF" were applied using a Graco Mark V airless sprayer. • Total thickness: The total thickness of the multi-layer coating was 2.5 mm.
Result: A durable, seamless, and non-combustible coating was created on the S1 separator, which effectively handles the assigned tasks. A temperature difference of 40 degrees was achieved, confirming the high efficiency of the thermal insulation. This project is another example of the successful application of "Bronya" in the oil and gas industry.
The entire scope of work—from selecting the material for the specific task to its delivery and professional application—was carried out on a turnkey basis by our official representative, "Bronya Kaliningrad".
