We are sharing the recording of the General Director of 'Bronya' company speaking on the RBC TV channel in the program 'Day. Main', broadcast on May 21st!
Broadcast topic: Green agenda and carbon neutrality — challenges for Russian business and economy.
In the 'Day. Main' program, the General Director of 'Bronya' company discussed the reasonable balance between ecology and economy, as well as key challenges for Russia:
1. Carbon Neutrality: Risks and Opportunities
According to estimates, by 2035, adaptation to new requirements could cost our country up to 7.7% of GDP. However, reasonable environmental measures are not a threat, but a stimulus for modernization:
Energy efficiency — for example, Bronya materials help reduce the carbon footprint without radical measures.
Technological development — instead of prohibitions, investments in science and innovation are needed.
2. 'European Approach' Sales to Europe: Separating the Wheat from the Chaff
What works: real projects for energy saving, recycling, green building.
What needs reconsideration:
Electric vehicles — as long as their charging depends on fossil fuels, the environmental effect is unclear.
RES turbulence — a sharp rejection of traditional energy already leads to disruptions (example — the already traditional blackouts in the EU).
3. Bronya's Strategy: Pragmatism and Cooperation
Export to Europe and Asia: we are ready to supply solutions that meet real environmental challenges.
ESG without overreach: our products (e.g., non-combustible and inexpensive thermal insulation materials) help reduce emissions now.
Dialogue instead of confrontation: it is important to discuss climate policy taking into account the interests of all parties. Without political intrigues, eco-blackmail in excesses, and certainly politicking.
Conclusion: 'Ecology is not an ideology, but a technology'
Global challenges require systemic solutions, not rigid restrictions. And certainly not ultimatums and sabotage.
Russian companies can become a bridge between different approaches, offering balanced initiatives. And, of course, breakthrough technologies and eco-mechanisms – which, of course, include our Bronya coatings.
