We are presenting the experience of using "Bronya" coatings for a comprehensive solution at a large industrial facility—an RVS-3000 tank in the city of Belogorsk.
Object: The roof of an RVS-3000 tank, used for storing fuel oil. (Tanks of this type often store oil or petroleum products, and the roof is one of the most vulnerable parts, both in terms of temperature effects and corrosion, especially from solar heating and atmospheric precipitation.)
Task: To provide reliable corrosion protection for the tank roof and effective thermal insulation, reducing heating from the sun and minimizing evaporation or heat loss of the contents.
Solution: A combination of two of our products was chosen: "Bronya Antirust NF" — for basic anti-corrosion protection. "Bronya Classic NF" — for high-efficiency thermal insulation.
Work Stages:
• A 0.5 mm layer of "Bronya Antirust NF" was applied to the prepared surface of the RVS-3000 tank roof.
• A 0.5 mm layer of "Bronya Classic NF" was applied on top.
• The total coating thickness was only 1 mm!
An interesting application solution: During the work period, the daytime temperature reached only +12°C, and at night it dropped to +4°C. Therefore, specialists from "Bronya Amur" used an effective approach. To maintain the optimal temperature, they placed heat guns inside the tank, heating it for the entire application period plus 2 days after the final layer was applied, which ensured the tank's surface temperature did not fall below +15°C.
Result: Thanks to the unique properties of our materials, just 1 millimeter of coating provided the tank roof with dual, comprehensive protection: • Reliable anti-corrosion protection, preventing metal deterioration for this climatic zone. • High-efficiency thermal insulation, which significantly reduces the thermal impact of the sun and helps maintain a stable temperature inside the tank.
