Volgograd Bronya was among the winners of the federal stage of the Exporter of the Year competition for the fourth time, for the second year in a row, taking two first places in two prize categories at once - "Exporter of the Year in Industry" and "Responsible Exporter of ESG".
Alexander Boyarintsev, CEO of Bronya: "Last year, for the third time in a row, we became the winners of the federal stage of the Exporter of the Year competition, and in 2023, for the first time, we won two first places at once, the award was presented to us by Andrei Belousov for three years in a row. Having won in 2024, we were able to keep the bar and even raise it higher, once again becoming two-time winners in the same categories for the second year in a row."
Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, delivered a welcoming speech and parting words: "It is very difficult to remember all the names, and it is almost impossible for beginners to squeeze into already occupied markets. Therefore, a common label "Made in Russia" should appear, which would indicate the high quality of the product, inspire confidence even in a little-known brand and increase the universal recognition of products from our country. We all have a lot of serious work to do on this. After all, today it is known mainly in the CIS, if, of course, we do not talk about oil, metal, grain. In order to change this status quo, on behalf of the President, we are preparing, together with the REC, a program to promote the national brand in order to influence trade relations in general through it. The base for starting the program is good. About 8,300 products have already been certified to participate in it. We expect growth by an order of magnitude."
Veronika Nikishina, CEO of the Russian Export Center: "This year, the first cycle of the national project "International Cooperation and Export" is coming to an end. During this period, a unique export support and development system has been built in the world, and our companies have gained resilience to external stresses. In just two years, Russian business has come a long way in prioritizing the markets of the Global South as key partners. Thanks to all the work done, five out of six dollars of Russia's export revenue already goes to the markets of our key trading partners. 83% of our exporters are confident about developing their exports in non-CIS markets and are ready to compete with global players in complex and very diverse markets."
Denis Manturov: "It's getting harder for us to identify the best of the best. This year's competition was attended by almost 1,700 companies, which together provided a tenth of the country's non-primary non-energy exports in 2023. I want to thank them all for working in such difficult conditions. I would especially like to mention the winners of the regional stages of the "Exporter of the Year" award, your work is important for the development of our regions. We can and should look up to you, learn from your experience and best practices in conducting foreign economic activity."
The awards were presented to us by Denis Valentinovich Manturov, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, and Alexey Evgenievich Repik, Chairman of Delovaya Rossiya.
We are grateful for the highest appreciation of our work, this is a very great achievement. With God's help and our efforts, we will continue to work for the benefit of our country.
