Repairing Leaks on a Metal Roof with "Bronya AquaBlock Expert" in Slovakia (photos, video)

Leaks at joints and flashing points are one of the most common and troublesome problems in roof maintenance. Today, we're sharing our experience with a localized but very effective repair of just such a complex area.
Object:
A metal roof.
Solution:
For a localized but reliable repair, the material "Bronya AquaBlock Expert" was chosen. Its high adhesion to metal and excellent elasticity are ideal for sealing dynamic joints. The material withstands the heating of a metal roof without any issues and is resistant to temperatures from -55°C to +150°C.
Work Stages:
- The problem area was thoroughly cleaned and degreased.
- The first layer of "Bronya AquaBlock Expert" was applied with a roller.
- Between the first and second layers of the coating, a 60 g/m² geotextile reinforcement was laid.
- A finishing coat of "Bronya AquaBlock Expert" was applied.
- The total thickness of the coating was 1.5 mm.
Result:
The leak was completely eliminated. A seamless, elastic, and durable waterproofing membrane (patch) was created that reliably protects the most complex joint on the roof. The repair was completed quickly and without the need to replace large sections of the roofing material, and another project has been added to our dealer's portfolio in Slovakia, strengthening their reputation and promoting word-of-mouth referrals.
