Freezing joints in panel buildings are one of the most common problems during the autumn-winter period, a familiar issue for millions of Russians. Today, we will show how this problem can be solved quickly, effectively, and with minimal costs, using a specific project as an example.
Object: A panel building at 20 Tchaikovsky St., Blagoveshchensk.
Problem: In an old panel building, the joints on the north side began to let the cold in, making the apartments cold in the winter. The residents were looking for an optimal, inexpensive, yet high-quality solution. Traditional repairs, which involve opening up the joints, would have taken at least a week and required significant expense.
Solution: After searching for the best solution, the building's residents decided to use the liquid ceramic thermal insulation "Bronya Facade NF."
Work Stages:
- The joints were cleaned of old paint.
- The surface was primed with a diluted "Bronya Facade" composition.
- "Bronya Facade" thermal insulation was applied in layers to a total thickness of 2 mm.
Result: The entire job took only two days, working 4 hours per day! The residents are very satisfied, as they saved a significant amount of money on labor and the rental of an aerial lift. The problem of freezing joints is completely solved, and the apartments have become noticeably warmer.
There are thousands of such panel buildings in Russia, and the problem of freezing joints is relevant for many. This project clearly shows that "Bronya" is an effective and economical solution for improving the comfort and energy efficiency of the housing stock across the country.
