Hello, dear friends and colleagues!
We are presenting an example of the application of our excellent rubber materials from our representative, "Bronya Amur." The project was to eliminate condensation on long sections of piping in a large cold water supply unit in an apartment building in Blagoveshchensk, Amur Region, under conditions of constant high humidity.
Because the pipes were not just covered in constant condensation but were also profusely dripping water (it was almost pouring!), the "Bronya ThermoHydroPlast" material was applied after a consultation with the dealer. Initially, the pipes were primed and reliably protected from corrosion with one 300-micron layer of the rubber-based "Bronya Metal Elastic." Then, three layers of "Bronya ThermoHydroPlast" were applied for a total thickness of 2 mm. The application was done with a paint brush, with a single, inter-layer reinforcement using geotextile.
It is important to note: the geotextile must be pressed on tightly, as the elimination of condensation requires the complete absence of any voids (from physics, we know that in addition to temperature and humidity differences, one of the conditions for condensation is the presence of a condensing surface; therefore, the reinforcement requires complete and total adhesion).
The application was carried out during a temporary and brief shutdown of the hot and cold water supply. After the work was completed, condensation on the pipe surfaces was completely prevented, the pipes were reliably protected from external moisture, and a significant bonus was the thermal insulation with anti-corrosion protection. The client was very satisfied.
It can be noted that the anticorrosive, rubber-based Bronya coatings, especially when combined with "Bronya ThermoHydroPlast," represent the undeniable future and the evolution of Bronya's thermal insulating rubber coatings!
