We are sharing excellent news and fresh footage from our dealer in Cherepovets! At the facility of the industrial giant PAO Severstal (CADP SBK-1, Administration Building of the Coke Agglomeration Production), work has been successfully completed on the thermal insulation and anticorrosion treatment of the load-bearing metal roof structures. It is particularly worth noting that our regional representative has been successfully cooperating with this enterprise for over seven years. It is remarkable how the scale of application of our coatings at the customer's facilities has evolved: in the initial stages of the partnership, "Bronya" materials were used mainly for targeted tasks (insulation of pipelines, equipment units, eliminating cold bridges, and local condensation control), whereas today the customer has confidently expanded the range of applications of our modifications, entrusting them with the comprehensive treatment of entire building load-bearing structures.
The metal elements of the roof truss system showed signs of severe corrosion before work began. To solve this problem, a tremendous amount of work was carried out, applying a total of 8 layers of two of our modifications: "Bronya Anticor NF" and "Bronya Classic NF" using the airless spray method. The "Bronya Anticor NF" modification has anticorrosion, thermophysical, and non-flammable properties. Preliminary preparation in the form of removing loose, flaking rust, treating the surface with a rust converter, and then applying the material in 2 layers of 0.5 mm each ensured maximum adhesion, stopped further corrosion spread, and created a primary fire protection and thermal insulation barrier.
The second stage involved applying 6 layers (0.5 mm each) of our "Bronya Classic NF" thermal insulation, with a total thickness of 3 mm. This material creates a powerful thermal barrier and ensures complete non-flammability of the surface.
In this work, thanks to the use of the airless spray method, all hard-to-reach components of the trusses, gusset plates, and beams were quickly and uniformly treated. This created a perfectly smooth, aesthetically pleasing white finish coating.
As a result of applying "Bronya" materials, the metal structures at PAO Severstal received reliable protection against rust, effective thermal insulation, and absolute non-flammability, and our company once again confirmed the highest quality of its products, which are successfully used at the facilities of the country's largest corporations.
