During the restoration of the roof of a regional cultural heritage site – School of Arts No. 3 (Volgograd, 34, Socialisticheskaya str.) – the new slate roofing was treated with Bronya Water Repellent. The solution was applied to the surface using a JR Graco sprayer.
The use of Bronya water repellent significantly extended the service life of the slate, while optimally fitting within the allocated budget. Bronya Water Repellent almost completely eliminates capillary absorption of moisture, reduces water absorption, while maintaining the vapor permeability of the material. The resulting thin polymer film prevents moisture from penetrating inside the slate, increasing the durability of the roof and protecting it from destruction, fungi, and mold.
