We are sharing our experience in the comprehensive restoration and waterproofing of an elegant concrete fountain. The structure's bowl required reliable protection against constant contact with water to prevent concrete deterioration, and it also needed a radical renovation of its appearance.
To implement the project, the client made the absolutely right decision to apply the high-performance waterproofing coating "Bronya AquaBlock Expert".
As can be seen in the work-in-progress photos, to strengthen the bowl structure and create the most durable and long-lasting waterproofing layer possible, additional reinforcement using a special construction mesh (fiberglass mesh tape) was applied before the main material.
The fountain is located on the grounds of a recreation center, at one of the most popular restaurants in the Volgograd region.
Result: The "Bronya" coating successfully solved the set tasks. First, a reliable barrier was created to prevent concrete deterioration caused by water penetration. Second, as seen in the final photos, the fountain was given a renovated, fresh, and attractive appearance.
