Following the successful start in the city of Fermo, we are pleased to share reports on the next two, no less significant seminars, held in May in the cities of Parma and Pisa. Our educational and scientific work in Europe continues to gain momentum!
Let us remind you that due to the enormous interest of European specialists in ultra-thin thermal insulation, the Bronya Facade Academy launched a series of large-scale training events in Italy.
The second event of our series took place on May 8 in Parma, at the modern LINK 124 complex. The seminar was organized in cooperation with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Parma (on the eve of its 80th anniversary) and the National Federation FederEdilizia.
The main theme of the meeting was "Energy renovation of protected buildings in accordance with the new EU Regulation 2024/3110." The leading speakers of the event — Dr. Alessio Masini (Passive House consultant) and Engineer Luca Soldani — analyzed in detail for their Italian colleagues the following aspects:
-
Application of innovative insulation materials for thermo-acoustic renovation of buildings, including in historic centers.
-
Analysis of systems and innovative solutions for improving the energy efficiency of existing buildings without changing their historical and architectural appearance.
On May 15, the baton was taken by Pisa, where the seminar was held in the iconic academic atmosphere of the University of Pisa. This event was organized jointly with the Order of Engineers of the Province of Pisa, the Laboratories of Integrated Environmental Technical Physics (LIFT) of the University of Pisa, the IUAV University (Venice), and under the patronage of FederEdilizia. For participation in the seminar, engineers were officially awarded 3 continuing education credits (CFP).
Our list of experts at this event was joined by Architect Silvia Scordo and Engineer Michele Rocca. The program was incredibly rich and aroused great interest among the audience:
-
Engineer Michele Rocca presented unique test data on non-traditional thermal and acoustic insulation materials for construction. The audience was clearly shown an experiment: a heated metal plate was half covered with a traditional insulator 12 cm thick, while the other half was protected with a ceramic-based material only 3 mm thick! The dynamic results of heat distribution were recorded using thermal imagers and thermocouples, which became indisputable proof of the effectiveness of our technologies.
-
Architect Silvia Scordo highlighted the most important nuances of energy modernization of historical heritage.
-
Dr. Alessio Masini revealed the details of DoP declarations and compliance with the strict CPR 3110/2024 standards for advanced products.
-
Engineer Luca Soldani provided real examples of successful coordination of renovation projects with the Superintendence for Architectural Heritage, subject to historical, environmental, and landscape constraints.
Both events ended with lengthy discussions and Q&A sessions. Specialists in Italy are increasingly convinced that by working with Bronya technologies, they receive proven reliability backed by scientific laboratories, allowing them to effectively insulate ancient palazzos and historical sites while preserving their original beauty.
Follow our news, the series of seminars in Europe continues! With us, innovations become the standard.
