Four Levels of Protection: Application of the Patented Non-Combustible System and 4 "Bronya" Modifications at a Chemical Plant in the Czech Republic (Photo)
Dear colleagues! We are sharing the details of a complex and interesting project implemented by our Czechoslovak representative office.
The client was one of the major chemical concerns in the Czech Republic — our long-time partner and client, who has already used "Bronya" coatings at their industrial facilities. This time, we faced a non-trivial task: it was required not simply to insulate the pipelines, but also to ensure corrosion protection, absolute incombustibility (NG), and, most importantly, resistance to the facility's aggressive airborne chemical environment.
To solve this problem, our patented multi-layer system was applied, including four modifications of the coating:
-
Primer layer: "Bronya Anticor NG" (1 mm thickness) — thermal fire protection to stop corrosion and create adhesion.
-
Thermal insulation layer: "Bronya Classic NG" (from 1 to 2.5 mm) — the thickness was selected depending on the carrier temperature.
-
Reinforcing layer: "Bronya Light NG" (2 mm) using a sickle mesh (fiberglass mesh) embedded in the final finish layer — to provide mechanical strength and a solid "air gap".
-
Finishing protective layer: "Bronya Aquablock Expert NG" (1.5 mm).
The waterproofing coating "Bronya Aquablock Expert NG" was an ideal fit as the finishing layer for the chemical plant conditions. The material already holds Russian and European non-combustibility certificates, and the chemical resistance of its rubber binder allows it to effectively withstand the aggressive environmental impacts within the workshop.
In fact, this is the realization of one of our patents: "Pre-insulated pipe with ultra-thin thermal insulation based on hollow microspheres and the method of its manufacture" (Patent No. 2824415). Additionally, per the client's technical specifications, the coating was tinted to the required colors using a special polyurethane tinting paste.
(Yes, indeed, we quietly launched the revolutionary rubber fire protection without announcing it in our newsletters and news feeds, and its hybrid — or rather, its "cousin" — is the non-combustible waterproofing Bronya "Aquablock Expert NG". Moreover, it was this specific client who initiated the faster launch of the new product. So, yes, the new Bronya "Aquablock Expert NG" is already on sale!)
Results: The work was carried out in the autumn of 2025 in various locations of the workshop on a "turnkey" basis — our dealer acted as both the supplier and the applicator. Pipelines and equipment with carrier temperatures ranging from cold values to +60...+150°C were insulated. Thanks to the comprehensive approach (anti-corrosion + thermal insulation + chemical protection + incombustibility + waterproofing), the surface temperature of the pipes and equipment dropped in all areas to no higher than a safe +45°C, which fully satisfied the client's requirements.
Essentially, this news is both about an international project and a cool case study of the application and layering of four of our modifications simultaneously in the implementation of one of our 17 patents
