We are pleased to share an impressive industrial case from our official representative in the Rostov Region! Their client, specializing in the design and construction of high‑tech boiler houses and turnkey industrial facilities, has implemented a landmark project for thermal insulation of a new modern heating unit.
The main uniqueness of this facility is that not a single square centimeter of traditional insulation materials — mineral wool or polyurethane foam — was used! All thermal insulation of the most complex equipment, pipelines, and heat exchangers was carried out exclusively with ultra‑thin liquid ceramic thermal insulation coatings of the Bronya series.
The heating unit operates at average coolant temperatures of +140 °C. To ensure reliable thermal protection and personnel safety, a multi‑layer combined coating system with a total thickness of just 3.5 mm was designed and successfully applied. The main thermal insulation coating was the "Bronya Classic NF" modification with layer reinforcement to provide maximum durability and mechanical resistance. In areas requiring frequent wet and disinfectant treatment, a material with a special chemically resistant polyurea component was used. To maintain the system technology, a layer of "Bronya Lite AirLess NF" was applied before it. Also, to ensure easy visual identification according to industrial standards, our paint was tinted yellow and applied to individual components and equipment elements.
The rejection of mineral wool in favor of ultra‑thin Bronya thermal insulation brought the customer enormous operational advantages:
-
Maximum space and weight savings: The ultra‑thin Bronya layer of just a few millimeters effectively replaces dozens of centimeters of bulky mineral wool, significantly saving usable floor space.
-
Absolute cleanliness, environmental friendliness, and non‑flammability: The room completely lacks the harmful dust characteristic of traditional fiber insulation. Bronya materials are environmentally safe, do not support combustion, and ensure fire safety of the facility.
-
Instant defect detection: Unlike mineral wool, which can hide fistulas and leaks under its thickness for years, the Bronya coating allows any defects and microcracks on the pipeline to be quickly detected at the earliest stage.
-
Free access to equipment: Maintenance of shut‑off valves, flanges, sensors, and heat exchangers is now as simple and fast as possible, without requiring dismantling and re‑installation of insulation layers.
This project, like many others, clearly demonstrates that ultra‑thin liquid thermal insulation "Bronya" is already today the most modern and high‑tech standard for equipment protection. Our materials fully meet the needs of enterprises for high‑quality thermal protection of equipment, guaranteeing undeniable operational advantages, which is why hundreds of leading plants daily choose Bronya technologies for their facilities.
