A new, important and very informative video guide on mixing thermal insulation Armor, or “what if dry material came?” (video)
7 August 2024
Good afternoon dear friends! In today's publication, we would like to analyze an important question that some of our customers have when using Bronya - “What if dry material came?”It is not uncommon for us and our dealers to receive requests for inappropriate consistency of the material. After opening the bucket, customers see an excessively thickened or visually dried, powdery material, and therefore, without reading the instructions, they come to hasty, erroneous conclusions – that the material “Does not dye, is not applied, is not plastic, dry, is not sufficiently concealable, and is generally spoiled” (although this is not so). In this case, we always say - “please send us a video where you mix our material for 3 minutes, after opening the bucket, with a mixer, at 100-120 rpm” (after that, as a rule, they unsubscribe quite quickly, more often without even sending a video - “Thank you, we figured it out, everything is OK, mixed with a mixer, everything is fine”). This stratification occurs and the density of the material increases(although a few days after production, the material has a homogeneous consistency, ideal for use), due to the fact that in the material that is stored for some time, a process occurs in which the ceramic microsphere, which contains a vacuum inside, rises over time and the acrylic settles at the bottom of the bucket, so the detached microsphere is much thicker, and this density is even good, because it indicates that there are a lot of microspheres in the composition. As a rule, after consulting with our specialists, and also if you follow the instructions, it is easy to achieve the desired consistency, simply by mixing it correctly with a construction mixer. Stories like the example that our dealer reviewed in the video happen to him all the time, because he is located in one of the most remote points of our country, from the production of Armor, namely in the Amur region. That is, the products always come to him with a guaranteed bundle, especially in the summer. Therefore, it became ordinary and normal for him. The video is divided into two parts – The first part shows the “restoration” of the material from the client, which it is designated as problematic and easy to bring it to the desired consistency, simply following the instructions (stirring for 2-3 minutes). – In the second part, our dealer radically went further and deliberately, qualitatively "raised the bar" of our material – he mixes the bucket that was sent to him in May this year (having overcome record temperature shocks – in Volgograd there were record +45 °C in the shade, and throughout the country, there were approximately the same temperatures), and even such a condition – dry and critical, is solved by simple mixing with a construction mixer – that is, following the instructions. If, immediately after opening, before starting work, mix the material thoroughly with a mixer, at low speeds – 100-120 revolutions per minute, for at least three minutes, periodically dipping the mixer to the bottom of the bucket – the microsphere and acrylic will mix and form a homogeneous consistency, ideal for application. If, due to prolonged transportation or storage, the material has thickened, it is mixing with a construction mixer that is the only correct and possible solution to this situation. Sometimes the client thinks that adding water will help to achieve the desired consistency, but if you add water to an insufficiently mixed material, it will most likely render it unusable and this should not be done in any case. This video is intended for customers of our dealers who are working with our coating for the first time and, by analogy, say that their material has flaked. Following the instructions, you will definitely solve the current situation #AllbRonya!
