SUCCESS STORY: "Liquid Bronya" from Russia, which protects against fire and water, is used all over the world. Its manufacturer, NPO Bronya, continues to conquer international markets: the company's products help protect and preserve architectural monuments commissioned by the Italian government.
What do Tallinn Airport, a Chinese nuclear power plant, a Coca-Cola plant in Armenia and a Spanish olive oil producer have in common? All of them are protected from fire and water by “liquid armor”, which is produced in the Volgograd region by a Russian enterprise - NPO “Bronya”.
Founded in 2008, NPO Bronya now manufactures and exports liquid ceramic thermal insulation, waterproofing and fire retardant coatings to more than 50 countries around the world. Last year alone, Bronya sold its products to 23 countries, including Indonesia, India, Croatia, Korea, Denmark, Oman and Vietnam.
The main market for NPO Bronya is now Italy, where the company participates in the implementation of the state program to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings. She even receives a subsidy if the "liquid armor" is applied to the building, if it is an architectural monument, because the protection against "Bronya" does not alter either the appearance or the architecture.
The secret of success also lies in the fact that 1 mm of insulation made by Bronya successfully replaces, for example, 50 mm of mineral wool. It is applied like a paint - and it works as insulation and protection.
“Abroad, for many companies, when choosing a supplier, the item“ about profit ”is not in the first place, but comes after the item“ about the environment ”. For example, in Italy, where there is the highest demand for our products, we are participating in a government program to reduce the carbon footprint of buildings while preserving architecture. We even have a separate certificate for that. This is also why we are growing so rapidly as an exporter. And REC support helps us expand the geography of supplies and increase exports, ”commented Veronika Kulish, commercial director of NPO Bronya.
